YES: AWAKEN. (From the album Going For The One (1977)). No particular reason for posting YES, and no particular subliminal message in choosing the track AWAKEN. I just like YES a lot and AWAKEN is probably my favourite YES track. This is YES at their best; epic YES; classic YES, with intricate lyrics which demand concentration and attention, but which, in the end, can be deduced to be about a search for freedom and the finding of that freedom: awakening; and so the title captures all that analysis in one simple word AWAKEN. YES is the band; YES is the word; AWAKEN is the message... :) The video that goes with this is pretty spectacular and well worth a watch, btw..! (M).
