YES! IT WAS ON TODAY OF LAST YEAR. A year ago on today, it was a fantastic day in Beijing, when we (Vallai M. Dorley, James Kpargoi, Saye Vah and I) graduated from two prestigious Universities {Peking University (PKU) and China Foreign Affairs University (CFAU)} with Master degrees in Public Policy and International Relations. Friends from all around the global community were seen in a joyous mood as we were, hoping to return to our various countries with this Academic Pride. Times have flown and we are all back in our various countries, making contributions in different capacities to pay back to our nations’ rebuilding. In a retrospective moment and thought, I have decided to pay tribute to all my many friends who and I share today of last year, achieving master degree from the People’s Republic of China. While we were all happy celebrating our happy moment away, we did not have parents and love ones to share our joy with us, but we appreciate the peaceful co-existence that we had then, regardless of our cultural diversities. What I also saw on the Television in Beijing, was also the United States of America celebrating its Independence; today, they still do while we remember our great academic history.
