YHVH asks us to do something that is not easy for us to do…He asks us to TRUST, He asks us to have FAITH, He asks us to REST in Him. Those things do NOT come easy to us do they? We are used to controlling. We are used to taking action. We are used to making things happen on our own terms and when it fits our plans and wishes. We form our OWN plans and then act on them. We do NOT like to be told no…we do NOT like to be told wait… The issue of our faith and trust in Him for ALL things, is a VERY serious one. Everything rides on that faith and trust. Are YOU really looking to Him, or are you still trusting in your own self? We MUST put ourselves COMPLETELY and FULLY into His Hands! We cannot rely on ourselves to go through the things that are coming on this world. It has always been about faith and trust…ALWAYS! Avraham ascended Mount Moriah with Yitzhaq and prepared to strike him with his knife. He was poised, ready and determined to plunge the blade into his own son, when YHVH called out and stayed his hand. Did everything within Avraham scream and cry out to him not to do what he was doing? Of course it did. He put his faith and trust in YHVH just like he did when he left the place where he lived and went where YHVH told him to go. He overcame himself…he overcame his own thoughts and his own feelings that screamed out to him not to do what he was preparing to do. He TRUSTED YHVH more…he had FAITH that whatever YHVH asked of him was for a purpose, even if he did not understand at the time. How many have TRULY place their own lives and those of their families into His Hands and are REALLY looking to Him in faith and trust? Will you refuse to do what He asks of you at some critical point and time, because your OWN thoughts, your OWN feelings and your OWN senses betray you? Some will…many will… If YHVH put that test on Avraham, what test might He put on us? He WILL try and test those who set themselves apart to Him. He has to know those who are TRULY His, from those who are not. Many are failing the most basic tests they face. For those who pass…the tests will get harder. Count on it… Prepare and make ready! Put your faith, trust and loyalty where they belong. Put your life in His Hands and you will not have to fear. Listen to Him, trust in Him and have NO doubt.
