YISAU NEWS UPDATE; The Presidency has reacted to calls by the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) for President Jonathan’s removal following the mayhem that has rocked Rivers State House of Assembly. Addressing the Press Tuesday, the Presidency described those calls as ‘a flawed position’. The Presidency refuted claims that there’s a presidency connection to the ongoing chaos at Rivers State House of Assembly. Doctor Doyin Okupe, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs spoke in Abuja on behalf of the president saying Rivers State Governor Amaechi was too small politically for President Jonathan to fight with. He described ACN’s impeachment calls as unfair attempts to link the President to the political quagmire in Rivers State. Stay tuned!
