YMCA Offers Free Day Camp for Children of Evacuated Families Starting Monday, June 17 COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - June 14, 2013... In an effort to provide children from evacuated families with some relief from the stress and pressures caused by the Black Forest Fire, the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region will provide Day Camp at no charge and on a space-available basis starting Monday, June 17. Evacuated children, ages 5-12, will enjoy playing games, engaging in healthy activities and connecting with other kids. Pre-register by calling 719.329.7289. Please provide your name, phone number, and the age of your child or children to register for Day Camp. A YMCA staff member will contact your family with first availability.
