YORP Orientation Conducted Attended by almost 25 organizations and more than 50 youth leaders, the Youth Organization Registration Program Orientation with the theme, “In unity, there is strength”, was successfully conducted at Little Theater, Agro Sports Complex, Daet, Camarines Norte last May 26, 2014 from 8 to 5 in the afternoon. The event was done in partnership and with the support of the Provincial Youth Affairs Office of Camarines Norte headed by Mr. Bong Palma. Among the highlights are the awarding of certificates to the newly registered YORP organizations and the Training Needs Analysis which aim to help young leaders and their organization to identify the trainings needed inorder for them to become more capable of being an effective leader in their own communities, schools, barangays, municipalities, and the nation as a whole. YORP Orientation is another effort by the National Youth Commission-Naga Area Office to updates groups on programs and activities as well as the direction of YORP this 2014. Moreover, it also serves as an avenue for the young people to be more actively involved in the spirit of service. The National Youth Commission –Naga Area Office headed by Ms. Nydia P. Delfin, Area Officer appreciate the active participation of the different individuals who were sent as representatives of their own organizations from various schools, municipalities, and provinces of Bicol Region on the event. It is through their presence that it became successful, interactive, and productive.
