YOU AND GODS WORD: Do you know that God desires to speak to you - TopicsExpress

YOU AND GODS WORD: Do you know that God desires to speak to you PERSONALLY every day? He wants to relate with you on a one-on-one basis. BUT... many of us do not have the time for Him. He craves to have a relationship that is more powerful than any other in the world with you but you are always shying away from him. God is therefore surprised that you are more interested in hearing about Him from third parties than having a one on one chat with him daily. God wants you as His confidante and partner in His work on the earth. Yes, you! You who are reading this now; YES! God is interested in a father-son, father-daughter relationship with you. Today, dont shy away from His invitation. How can this be? You may be asking with an almost confused mindset. God, the Maker of the Universe, trying to court me and to speak to me personally on a daily basis? But I am not a prophet or a man of God... Well, He says He desires to relate to whosoever wills! That includes you. This is the best and easiest way to hear from God and speak back to Him. Read His Word! Read the Bible for yourself! Consume it like it is your necessary food. Many Christians have shied away from the Bible for so long and they then get second-rate word from other people and that does not count for first hand information. A relationship with the Word is a direct relationship with God! By the word you know the Mind of God and what He wants from you. The terms of your relationship with Him are outlined in His Word. The Word is the final authority of Gods mind on all issues. As the year rolls to an end, make it a point of duty to read the word, study it and let Gods will guide your every decision. 2 Timothy 3:15 and 2:15 are instructive: ...and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
