"YOU ARE INTOLERANT!" my liberal friend said. He said the word like "intolerance" was a BAD thing. Well, he is right. I admit it. I AM intolerant. I am intolerant of people who wear bad behavior as a badge of honor. I am intolerant of politicians who lie and steal and who will stop at nothing to achieve their personal ambitions and agendas.. I am intolerant of hypocrisy and the "do as I say, but ignore what I do" attitude. I am intolerant of being told who I must and must not associate with and what ideologies I should embrace and not. I will decide! I am intolerant of assaults on my freedom, my religion, my family, my home. I will defend them at all costs to my dying day. But, most of all, I am intolerant of "tolerance" because I believe that a person, a community, a state and a nation becomes the LOWEST common denominator of that it will tolerate and that there is NO bottom without "intolerance" by consensus. There must be "rules" and intolerance if ANY society is to survive - lest they sink into mindless, self-serving chaos. We have a DUTY to ourselves - and others - NOT to tolerate that. :-
