YOU CAN MAKE IT: Stay true to your dreams in the face of adversity. Do not let the amount of resources you possess to determine how you build your future. Some people just sulk and retreat if they feel the resources they have got will take them nowhere. Those who behave like this are like the servant Jesus talked about in Mathew 25, who dug a hole and carefully hid the money given him by his master. This young man forgot that they were given resources based on each person’s ability. (Verse16). If the resources available to you seem small, don’t let it be a source of sorrow to you, because the Lord knows how gifted you are, he knows you have the ability to create opportunities out of small things. In situations like these, look inwards. Isaiah 1:19-20 gives weight to this: “If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the good of the land; but if you refuse and rebel, you will be eaten by the sword”
