YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR STRIKES AGAIN. I just ironed a whole bunch of chino pants (I hate ironing, so I let it pile up as long as I can without going naked, then do it in bulk). All were cotton. But the cheap ones had poly thread & the designer ones had cotton thread. I had to navigate carefully on the hot setting of the iron with the cheap ones. They took longer but (today), no singed threads....the ones with cotton thread ironed like a dream. Caveat emptor.
