YOU KNOW U R A TRUE KATAKYIE......... You know you are a true Katakyie when the mere mention of Opoku Ware School (OWASS) in the news send chills down your spine and arrest your undivided attention. You know it my brother…. You know it all too well my friend…You know you cannot deny it. You know you are a big true Katakyie when either in a car or by the roadside you unconsciously spot the OWASS pendant dangling in front of someone’s car and you constantly turn your neck to stare inquiringly at the car. You know you are a diehard Katakyie when you spontaneously move your eyes to inspect the man driving the car with the colourful OWASS pendant wondering which year group he belongs and what his school number might be. You know you are a real Katakyie when you spot someone in cream shirt in town and you keep craning your neck and straining your eyes to see the school badge on the top left pocket of his shirt just to confirm to yourself that that student is an Owarean. You know you are a loving Katakyie when you see an owarean in town wearing his cream shirt and suddenly you begin to feel the burning desire to strike up a conversation with him. You Know you are a manly Katakyie when you see a Slopsa in her uniform in town and you just can’t help staring at her. You know you are a true Katakyie when your email address or password is formed around your school number eg. SamuelBC343@gmail You know you are an honest Katakyie when you cannot deny this. You know you are a serious Katakyie when you find yourself drawn into a heated argument over which school is the best with friends from other lame schools either on campus or at the workplace. You know you are a Katakyie when you quickly flee the sight of an impending kerfuffle, commotion or brawl at any social or sports gathering. You know you are a Katakyie, oh my brother you know it very well, when in town or at any social gathering, someone shouts a series of alpha-numeric numbers like AY 224, and instantly you are the ONLY person in the crowd to turn your head. copied from the owass blog...... like it if u r a proud katakyie n rep ur sch number.
