YES, many people do endurance type of exercises like cardio but they fail to acknowledge muscular strength and its connection to metabolism. Studies done at Hackensack University Medical Center showed that programs that included resistance training had increased benefits in the test subject’s metabolism like lower insulin levels, less blood fat, and higher oxidative capacities.
