YOU THINK LIFE IS ALL ABOUT FIRST CLASS, RIGHT? Do not forgive - TopicsExpress

YOU THINK LIFE IS ALL ABOUT FIRST CLASS, RIGHT? Do not forgive me if I end up offending you. I really dont need your forgiveness. You see people come to school with just one thing in mind: FIRST CLASS! That is the only thing that matters to them, and they give up every other thing just to get it. Why? They believe graduating with first class degree means success in life. How wrong! If you think life is about the first class degree, then you need to be wise. For real! Personally, I have a cute CGPA, and graduating with the First Class degree will not be a problem to me if I want to, but life is beyond that. Life is not about your academic grades, it is about the level of impact you make. First class or third class, that is no determinant for a successful life. Truth be told, first class graduates may get better jobs, but does that guarantee fulfillment? Never! How many first class graduates do you know? Tell me! Most persons we regard as successful today had no business with first class. That is just the simple principle of life. Go read Robert Kiyosakis book Why A Students Work For C students. You will understand. Look at Bill Gates, first class graduate? He didnt even graduate. Look at Goodluck Jonathan, first class graduate? Look at Chris Oyakhilome, first class graduate? Look at Blessing Okagbare, first class graduate? Look at Aliko Dangote, first class graduate? Look at Steve Jobs, first class graduate? Look at Wole Soyinka, first class graduate? The list continues. I am not saying the desire for a first class degree is unworthy. Not at all! I am saying that we have to look beyond the first class. It is not all there is to life. Life is about we discovering our individual purpose and pursuing it. That is where fulfillment lies. While that guy spends his time fighting for the first class(he may not even get), dedicate some of your time developing yourself, and doing what you were born to do. If you dedicate yourself to purpose, you are likely to employ in the future first class graduates. Such is life. Many will not agree with this, and I definitely will not be surprised. We are still in Nigeria, and people are bound to think like Nigerians. Lets get acquainted
