YOULL NEVER KNOW There’s some little things in life we think we do not need And if we give ourselves enough, eventually we’ll receive We toughen as we grow and survive the casted stones Delude our minds that we are strong enough to walk alone Encouragement, some do not think is a life necessity Blinded, they still seek it although not intentionally A simple “job well done”, a hug or a pat on the back Some try to say it is not missed when from their life, it lacks It’s the little things we think that others cannot see When someone says they’ve noticed, it can bring you to your knees Someone who takes the time to hang on every word you say To think so much of who you are, for you they always pray Someone who seeks quite actively the thoughts within your brain Someone who really cares you never see an ounce of pain A friend like that is rare and is someone you don’t let go As for what you mean to me….my friend, you’ll never know
