YOUNG GIRL DRAGGED Crying & Screaming Into Arranged Marriage Husband’s Home In Kazakhstan, bride kidnapping, where a young girl is forced to marry the man who desires her, is quite common. Despite this practice being illegal in much of the world, this ancient custom allegedly accounts for about half of all marriages in this country. Often times, a man will hire people to steal a girl he admires through deception or by forcing her into their vehicles. Girl’s are sometimes offered a ride somewhere only to be apprehended against their will. On other occasions, they are tied up and dragged from the street. The shocking video above shows the moment a kidnapped girl is dragged from a car kicking, screaming and crying. The groom’s friends and relatives can be seen carrying her into the home of her future husband. While neighbors and family celebrate the arranged marriage, the girl is distressed — begging for them to take her home. A local women’s rights activist in Kazakhstan, Anfisa Zuyeva, told the Mirror that the tradition is a “barbaric and evil practice that forces young girls into loveless marriages with men they hardly know. Often the families of the victims agree because the groom pays them a lot of money. But it is an outdated and horrific tradition which has no place in modern Kazakhstan. (FTKNews).
