YOUR POV I threw my mirror to the floor, catching my reflection - TopicsExpress

YOUR POV I threw my mirror to the floor, catching my reflection as it shattered at my feet. Distraught and broken images of me lay at my feet. Silently a single tear fell from my eyes and rolled down my cheek. “Why am I still here?” I whispered to myself as I lowered myself to the shard covered floor. “Is it worth it anymore?” I whispered again, looking around the room. This room haunted my every thought and every dream, every thing led back to this one room. My hands traveled across my body, feeling every imperfection, every memory that this room had left on my body. Silently my hands reached the floor where the sharp shards lay. “No,” I whispered as I picked up a large shard and pressed it against my wrist. Slowly I pressed down against my skin and dragged it up the middle of my arm. Blood began to dye my pale skin a crimson red as it seeped out of the long, deep gash. When I was satisfied with my body art, I threw the shard across the room and lay back laughing to myself. “It will all be over soon,” I laughed to myself again. Black spots began clouding my vision and I knew that it really would be over soon. But before the darkness could completely take over, before I got the chance to walk into the bright light ahead of me, another door opened, revealing another light. The only thing different about this one was the voices of people calling my name. *2 YEARS LATER* LOUIS POV I watched her as she gazed out over the sea. Her silky straight hair cascading down her back, stopped just above her hips. She wore a grey tank top with ripped black short shorts that accentuated her body perfectly. Her skin was fair and from what I could see held no blemishes what so ever. As I studied her more closely, I noticed how one of her hands, carefully trailed up and down her opposite arm. Her face held no emotion and her plump pink lips were held in a stiff line. My eyebrows turned down into a frown at the thought of this mesmerising girl in pain and I knew I had to do something. Without thinking I rose from my place under a palm tree and slowly made my way across the sand to her. I had no idea why I was so caught up in her, but something about her just made all my troubles seem distant. Losing my job, my messy break up, troubles with my Mum, all seem to have disappeared, just because I laid eyes on her. Just looking at her made my heart beat faster and butterflies fly though my stomach. I walked up to her and stood beside her. Immediately her eyes flickered from the calm water to me. I smiled softly at her and she replied with a small smile of her own. I looked into her eyes and was faced with the clearest green I had ever seen. They held love hope and faith, but hatred, fear and pain masked them. This gorgeous girl that had me mesmerised, was broken, and had been for a while. My eyes flickered away from hers for a second, down to her bare arm that she caressed. At first I didn’t see anything out of place, but the she moved her hand slightly. My eyes widened and my face softened. From her wrist all the way up to her elbow was a long thin pink and white scar. My eyes snapped back to her face to see any reaction, any sign of emotion. All I was met with was the same blank expressionless eyes, I had faced when I had first seen her. I let myself get lost in my thoughts for a couple minutes, before I knew what I had to do. “I’m Louis, Louis Tomlinson” I introduced myself, holding out my hand for her to shake and smiling warmly. She looked at me, uncertain and hesitant. Disappointment shot through me as I began to retract my hand. But then warmth spread through my body as she took my hand in hers. My head snapped up from its disappointed state on my chest and looked at her. “Y/N,” she spoke softly and her lips turned up at the corners in a small smile. “Y/N,” I whispered to myself. We talked softly to one another for a while, well I talked and she listened and then she left. But not before I persuaded her to give me her number and take her out sometime. As I watched her silhouette leave the now dark beach, I thought back to the pain and fear I saw in her eyes. Such a beautiful, young girl shouldn’t of had to face the tough life I new she had. This girl was broken and it was now my personal mission to fix her. (Anyone see the Little Mix song reference??) :) ~Bambi Comment if you want me to write a part 2 :) x
