YOUR SEAT IS STILL THERE We all make bad decisions, wrong choices. The extreme discouragement that comes because we have failed causes many to give up and divorce, to quit on life, to abandon their post, to run to the world. Our decision may have cost us our reputation, our job, our friendship, our peace of mind. Whatever your decision might have cost you, God loves you. As a child of God, when you sin, fellowship is broken but you do not lose your place as a son. Your seat is still there. Once you know that, you would not waste time before running back to God and restoring your relationship with Him. Sin regarded in our heart spoils the comfort of His grace and ruins the success of our prayer (Psalm 66:18). Decide today to swallow your pride, when you make a mistake, don’t run from God; run to Him because your seat in His presence is still there.
