YOUR STRONGHOLD I once watched a movie where some demons attack and kill people; the only way not to be attacked by those demons is to have on you the cross. So everybody in that land started putting on their crosses but the demon still succeeds in killing people, how do they do this you might want to know, they will attack these people during the time they are bathing and the cross is not hung over their necks and some other times they appear like beautiful ladies to some men while trying to seduce them will ask them to remove their cross and when the unsuspecting men do remove their cross they will be killed. Our joy is like that cross; it scares away the devils out of our life. The devil can’t attack us as long as the joy of the Lord is still in our heart. When you began losing your joy, your spiritual stronghold begins to weaken. Those the devil destroys are those that had lost their joy. If you want to remain protected from every attack of darkness, hold on to your joy; you can’t be a victim of the power of darkness until you’ve lost the joy of your salvation. Nehemiah 8:10 says....and be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold. AMP You destroy your stronghold against the devil when you lose your joy.
