YOUR VIEW: Cristiano Ronaldo has slammed referee - TopicsExpress

YOUR VIEW: Cristiano Ronaldo has slammed referee Undiano Mallenco in the wake of Real Madrids 4-3 La Liga loss against Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday evening. Madrid were awarded a controversial spot kick shortly after half-time, but Mallenco also pointed to the spot in Barcelonas favour twice in the remainder of the game - while also dismissing Sergio Ramos - and Ronaldo feels the official deliberately favoured the Catalans. Undiano Mallenco is not suitable for games like this. We were playing against 12. Its always the same. Its like they dont want us to win and wanted Barcelona back in the title race, Ronaldo told reporters I am not looking for excuses, but I dont want to stay quiet on this. The referee was not at the required level for a big game like this. I have been here for five years now and I know how things work. If Barcelona had lost, they would have been out of the title race. I have never seen Real Madrid being favoured by the referees. Ronaldo remains confident that Madrid will win the Liga title, however, irrespective of Sundays defeat at the Bernabeu. Regardless of all that happened, Madrid will still win La Liga. However, Pique has stressed that Ronaldo should not be looking for excuses given that the Portugal star was awarded a controversial penalty after being tripped by Dani Alves outside the box. Its a real shame that Ronaldo is complaining about the referee again after such a great game, the defender told reporters. If we go and discuss each individual decision, Ronaldos penalty was outside the area... It is unfair to talk about the referee. He did not have any influence on the final result. Sundays win saw Barcelona move to within one point of their arch-rivals and joint leaders Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga. #I think it was daylight robbery.. Ronaldo is right..
