YOUTH IN SEARCH OF A CURE - CONCERT 2014 For those that have donated to this cause we thank you. We had to move the donation page to a new site due to the high fees we were being charged to run the fundraiser. This new site is simpler and allows folks to use the well known paypal system. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “When we give cheerfully and accept gratefully, everyone is blessed.” ¯ Maya Angelou “Never underestimate the difference YOU can make in the lives of others. Step forward, reach out and help. This week reach to someone that might need a lift. At the end of 2009, an estimated 1,148,200 persons aged 13 and older were living with HIV infection in the United States, including 207,600 (18.1%) persons whose infections had not been diagnosed, and globally an estimated 34 million people have HIV. More than 25 million people between 1981 and 2007 have died from the virus, making it one of the most destructive pandemics in history. This is a pandemic that has affected people from all walks of life and ages and many dont even know they have it. This virus is not selective to a certain race or lifestyle as some may believe. It can attack anyone no matter what path you on. A major key is prevention and education. This year FHR Radio has been asked by Unified Hearts to help support the efforts in HIV/A.I.D.S. Education and Prevention through the Youth in Search for A Cure Concert. This event was originally scheduled for Dec 1st in Central Florida however many great things have been happening in the background and has gotten the attention of many people, organizations, corporations, national media, etc which will give Unified Hearts and Ronan Parke the opportunity to expand on that mission and create even bigger and better opportunities. Unified Hearts along with their many supporters would like to make this a Worldwide Event and perhaps be able to take this concert series into cities around the world. But with anything of this magnitude funding is a very important issue. We are asking folks to help us raise the necessary funds to make the Youth In Search Of a Cure concert a reality. We would like to bring Britain Got Talent Alumni Ronan Parke to perform in the USA. Other artists we would like to bring to this event is UK Artist Declan Galbraith and others. Your funds go to a worthy cause and will help Unified Hearts further the mission of HIV-A.I.D.S. Education and Prevention across the world. To send in your donation please use the link below. Please help us by sharing this new link. This will be the permanent link for the remainder of this fundraiser https://youcaring/yoc
