YOU’ll IT SEE WHEN YOU BELIVE IT You’ll see it when you - TopicsExpress

YOU’ll IT SEE WHEN YOU BELIVE IT You’ll see it when you believe it. This is precisely true when Quran promises the details and clarifications. If you seek, you shall find. The Old Master Leonardo da Vinci subduedly wrote the message in Italian on one of of his works. “Cerca Trova”, meaning seek and you shall find. But, how to cultivate details in Quran? Not all details are equally present itself in the same manner and time on every matter. At least to my experience. Quran is a Book that requires contemplating and reflecting the message into reality. For this reason, Quran asks us not to speed up in reading the message (20:114) and make a snap-and-final conclusion on things. For example. I was trying to find the real meaning of sawm/siyam. I read back and fort for about two weeks reading 2:183-187. I kept thinking about the matter day and night. Translation of Yusuf Ali’s in 2:187 really perplexed me, so I decided to leave it alone for few days. I asked God to show me detail as promised in the Book. Before three weeks past, I read 2:183 again, with 33:35 and 19:26. Few hours letter I went back to read them again. There the meaning of sawm became clear to me, and I knew what I needed to do for my siyam as in 2:183. For my understanding: it is NOT fasting, thanks God. And a week latter verse 2:187 became clear to me also what it entails. Furthermore. For me reading Quran is like creating a work of art. When I create my master piece, it takes long process: confident material applications, refreshing eyes by stepping back and put it aside for few days when I start to get slow on my stokes. And I move to work on something else. As I come back to continue working on the piece where I left off, my eyes and judgement become sharper. Understanding the message of Quran takes thinking, mental exercise and observation of reality; and time is obviously part of this process for maturity. But, how do you convince folks who firmly cling to sunnah rasul for artificial details because they can’t see details even as blunt and simple as 5:6, they don’t even consider 7:3 is a clear cut statement? I found you can’t make people believe, until they believe it themselves. If one believes Quran is sufficient, and God already made it so. Clarification is upon God (75:18-19) is not an empty statement, it is not filler. It is not an empty promise of God. You’ll see it when you believe it. In Western civilization, many books have been written on this theme under various titles. Here is one from Wayne Dyer (https://youtube/watch?v=eLDIXLPzd3w)
