YUH BETTA DAN MI because you have steak while I have turkey neck or chicken back and at times nothing...yuh betta dan mi because your kids go to hydel and mine sometimes go to spanish town secondary...yuh betta dan mi because you have 4 rooms and I have non...yuh bettah dan mi because you wear nike and all I have is a slipper. ..yuh betta dan mi because you have government job and my parents bun coal..We have a culture of trying to be better than our neighbours and being better is not about who can run a race but being better as a human being and they who you try to be better than being dogs..treated as trash..looked down upon as being irrelevant too and a lesser jamaican. ..and just like dogs at times you throw a bone and look at them catch that bone even fighting for it because they are truly hungry.in doing that some think themselves as gods to be looked upon saying they are the big man or woman..I cant see that as an achievement for me or for anyone to eat a nightly meal and my friends and neighbour having non yet they who have non have tried for years to have something or to achieve in life but society is set in such a way as to keep them down..down where they are demonised and treated worst than dogs. .we have a society thats so selfish in which most get pleasure in metering out injustices because of that selfish mentality thats so prevalent..thats used by some to be seen as relevant...to be an attribute in most that are emulated...and also present in most who rule or have ruled...I have this and that while their fellow jamaican have not...not even life at times even some who feel good to be living while their neighbours get shot..saying mi lucky mi safe while their fellow jamaican die down the lane...People should aspire to progress but not to consider being better or more relevant because society makes it so hard for who have nothing to get ahead..We try not to be a better human being by putting pressure on government to create an environment where all can have an equal chance to excel. ..where all can have a chance to get a job to feed themselves...why cant we try to be a better jamaican free of enslavement and segregation...Jamaica some seh dem love....
