Ya know, although we lost yesterday, i think them Eers gave Bama all they wanted really.. a strong showing by our beloved blue and gold against a very strong team! Maybe one day our little school in the mountains will get the national recognition that it so rightfully deserves. Maybe people just associate college ball too much with the south and west. If they want to see true die hard football fans, they need to come to mountaineer field just one time in the heart of a crappy season and its bitter cold and raining and the stadium is still full. Being a mountaineer fan is much like being a fan of the browns...it doesnt matter how many wins and losses we have....we are loyal to our team to the end. Every single one of us in the mountaineer nation is down on that field every saturday for every play of every down. We play till the whistle blows, we play till the last second runs off the clock. We dont back down!...for those of you rooting for other teams, especially those of you that are fans of a team in the big 12....you best remember that. Were the Mountaineers.....and we came to play!
