Ya know, in the descriptions Ive read of spagettification when someone/thing crosses the event horizon of a black hole, they talk about how the person/object would appear frozen there, then red shift, fade away from perception from the perspective of an outside observer, but Ive been thinking about this and none of them so far have gone into the details of how this might look... Im thinking that since the object observed has depth, the 1st part reaching the event horizon would freeze from an observers perspective before the other parts catch up and then also freeze, so wouldnt we then simultaneously see like a 2 dimensional view of every plane (cross section) that reaches the event horizon as they appear to freeze in space and time? That would be strange indeed!
