This is when summer and the winter Holy People begin to exchange places. Its a time when the Holy come upon the the Earth, its when the fogs would come to Shield them as they come to surface of our Mother Earth. As they come to prepare the Earth and the air to bring new change that perpetuates to new growth. That which are planted, the pinching stars above us in the heavens, the first slender comes to replace the first big one. What is known as the rabbit track, and the big bear which are the Holy People of star clusters of the beautiful night sky. Its during this Sacred time of change of the heavens, our Dine Elders would encourage and expected us to be reverence. This when the Holy People come among us Earth People to bring about healing. This healing is help be resilient to endure the winter and to look forward to the new season of spring . The Nightway Chant is a time of prayers to assist with New Year of the Universe, a renewal of all things.. This when we would dance as Yeibechei is when the Earth People and Holy People become one for a time of healing ..
