Yahooo! I have just been excepted into the Doctoral program through Apostles Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida. I realize there are some in the Body of Christ who dont put much credence in theological study. And rightly so, in some regards. After all, the Scripture says knowledge puffs up, but love edifies. A corollary saying Ive heard is people dont care how much you know until they know how much you care. And Pauls prayer was to know the love of God which is beyond knowledge. Never-the-less, Paul also exhorted Timothy to Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved, a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth. (2 Timothy 2:15) I am looking forward to learning, in spite of the fact that my wife already thinks I know it all. JK, Honey. ;)
