Yahwehs instruction in the Law on holiness and justice: And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest. And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither thou gather every grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I am the LORD your God (Leviticus 19:9, 10) Though tithing is considered as a false teaching [to be enforced upon Christians], it is still a blueprint for how we are to treat one another, while we are still awake and awaiting the Second Coming. Give into the Lord, give into the poor. Yes, the Law is our schoolmaster (Galatians 3:24); but Jesus Christ is our guide. If they are lacking, give them your coat, food, water, shelter; whatsoever is expedient. Please do not turn a blind eye to their cries. Do not forget them in your day to day.
