Yall are sounding a lot like al-Qaeda. The neutral observer has long seen how the problem with terrorism was rarely the tactic, but the target. That is wrong. That is racist. That needs to be condemned. The deliberate targeting of civilians, whether by Hamas or or the IDF, is entirely inexcusable and indefensible. We stand in solidarity with Palestine, but not at the expense of our morality and human dignity. As an American and a Muslim, I hope for a peaceful outcome, and want our country to play a constructive role. We need to reject the logic of preferring one side, when that sides claims of moral superiority are clearly false. But rejecting cant be done on the grounds of partisanship but on principle.
