Yall do realize we couldnt read until somebody fought for us to be able to read... we couldnt go to school to somebody fought for that... when they wouldnt let us educate ourselves someone built Historically Black Colleges an Universities... Before you criticize our elders for what religion they choose or chose to believe in or for supposedly not doing anything to provoke change for our ppl ask yourself where would you be without their sacrifice. All of these books your reading to gain this new knowledge wouldnt even be accessible but then there are ppl now saying and I quote Man them old folks dont know nothing... they aint do nothing but be passive and they want us to still be passive ...we still in the same position.... When was the last time you was sprayed with a high pressure water hose or attacked by a dog for walking through downtown. when was the last time you were disciplined for getting caught reading... ILL WAIT... pay respect to the past and keep the fight going... Dont think you reinventing the wheel... We been fighting and still gone be fighting after you gone What type of culture has no respect for its elders or their sacrifices
