Yall have got to see this movie about the Holy Spirit that is out. I didnt have a clue about the Holy Spirit until I was a single mom and all my props were knocked out from under me. I was saved as a child but didnt receive adequate discipleship and became a juvenile delinquent because of my reaction to some very painful life events that clouded my vision of God. God was so patient with me and taught me by surrounding me and blocking everyone else from me but himself. He knew I had stopped believing he existed and lost all hope to live, but I still would not call out to him even though I was in so much emotional pain. I got very sick with an infection and high fever and couldnt take care of my children or work. Watching my babies trying to climb on the cabinets and find food, then spilling everything everywhere was the final straw. That is when I cried out for God to please help me. As soon as I asked for him to help me, I was immediately healed, a neighbor knocked on the door with her friend to fix my car, there was a letter from my sister with a Bible and $50, my daycare center called and asked why I quit coming and when I explained I didnt have a job, she said I could pay when I got a job, when I went back to my next college class a classmate got me a job at General Motors. I had been living with a co-worker and watching her kids and cooking for food and board but with a great paying job I could get my own apartment. I met my husband at my new job and when we married he adopted my children and I was a stay at home mom. As a stay at home mom I was able to adequately nurture my children and teach them to want to know about God. Before all of them reached 5 years old they each wanted to be a Christian because the Holy Spirit drew them to know Him. They each came to me earnestly wanting to Know God and asked me how they could know Him. I was able to pray with all 3 of them. He has never left our side. He has been providing everything since I asked Him to please help me. Please take someone to see this movie who has lost all hope.
