Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp, #Damascus, 22-09-2014: This report from Al Quds TV (in Arabic) details the horrific effects of the ongoing water shortages and regime bombardment of the camp, with the regime having cut off the mains water supply to the camp for 13 days now. The tens of thousands of residents are now reliant on a small supply of water pumped from artesian wells, much of which is unfit for human consumption, with concerns over disease spreading. Yarmouk has now been under a crippling total regime siege for over a year. Even non-Arabic-speakers can get a good idea of the horrors which residents of Yarmouk and countless other civilian men, women and children across Syria are enduring daily from the images.
