Yash Singhvi, an intern student from IIT Roorkee came to say goodbye to me this afternoon. Yash was the first student who made contact with me as soon as he arrived 7 weeks ago. He “can do” and enthusiastic attitude greatly impressed me. In the past seven weeks, not only he worked hard on a project in the College of Engineering, he also organized meetings with other NTHU students, visiting many places in Taiwan, with his fellow students and with Taiwan students. I believe that having this group of outstanding students on campus this summer has been extraordinarily good for NTHU transformation of a “globalized mindset.” This photo Yash took it with me, Lorraine and Pearl from my office.
