Yaxley Scout & Guide Centre – “Open House” Preview day, BBQ and AGM – Sunday 29th September between 12 to 3pm. On behalf of the Yaxley Scout & Guide Group, I would like to invite you to an “Open House” preview of the new Yaxley Scout & Guide Headquarters building. The event will be held on Sunday the 29th of September, between 12 and 3pm. Please drop in anytime between those times. The site is located at the junction of Main St, Windsor Rd and Great Drove so no excuses for not being able to find it! The event is open to literally everybody – Current members, past members, supporters and even anybody with just a passing interest to see what we have been up to! There will be guided tours and discussions, a BBQ (nominal charge), various activities, displays and the Group AGM all planned for that afternoon. We will also be informally discussing the way forwards and options for completing the building and finding extra funding. Please note – This is not an official opening of the building – there is still work to be completed before we can move our activities to this fabulous new site and we will need everyone’s help to get us moved there as soon as possible.
