Yay, Michiganders! The thing conservatives and Christian fundamentalists dont understand about America and the US Constitution is that you can believe anything you want in your personal life but you cannot take that personal belief and use it to curtail Bill of Rights liberties in any way including equal protection and treatment under the law. All their straight marriage bans -- either via state statute or constitutional amendment -- violates this very simple protection no matter their popular majority votes.
