Yay, nine things about me...Oh, gee, sorry for anyone who has to read this... 1. Troy and I both have had (beyond measure!) extremely stressful lives. I was a single mom for at least 5 years (not counting the years I tried and tried to make that marriage work.) Troy, the super hero, came in when Cassy and Marlana were 6 and 8. We had so much difficulty making ends meet and when a company that went bankrupt nearly destroyed our marriage just as Troy was hitting the top of his career, it took us 12 years to recover from the devastating destruction. We painted houses, Troy delivered pizzas, mowed lawns and repaired and sold tires on the weekends to make it all come together. He finally has a job that he loves and I am able to invent myself as an artist, which I have dreamed of since high school. 2. My favorite color changes from week to week, depending on my wardrobe taste, my latest favorite flower or shirt, the season, etc...lol 3. I am a flavored coffee hound...I love nearly every flavor that Millstone and Dunkin Donuts makes. I am not as fond of just the beans, no flavor, no matter how expensive they are or how they are roasted. 4. Grapefruits and grapefruit juice is my very favorite citrus flavor!! Nothing better to me than a real deal, tree-ripened grapefruit that oozes juice. I adore grapefruit juice and believe in its power to boost the immune system and keep one from gaining too much weight in the winter. I make my own fresh squeezed grapefruit juice all winter long. 5. I was a vegan off and on for years...I cannot shake my love for a good hamburger or a lovely beef roast or steak. There is something so very satisfying about BEEF, PORK & CHICKEN. Gotta have it. :) 6. I am a railroad history buff...LOVE old trains and old train trivia! 8) 7. My all-time favorite movie is OUT OF AFRICA...I think Meryl Streep and Robert Redford are both beyond sublime in this amazing autobiography of the author whose pen name is Isak Denison. I read her books in elementary school and was shocked to learn this after watching the movie many times. I further believe that this story holds such timeless wisdom of courage and the real experience of love that I learn something new every single time I watch it. To rose-lipped maidens and light-footed lads...
