Ye old Joke Box; The Platypus; Truth our Counsellorquences; Beatrice the Flea; skits presented by each section of Camp; fillers presented by the non-counselling staff; a Jack Pearse sing song; lots of laughs: all elements of the Skit Nights of yore... A few summers ago, after a 30 year or so hiatus, we brought Skit Night back with great enthusiasm and great results! Some of the elements are the same: skits from circles; fillers by the non-counselling staff; a big sing song (usually done by Jorgi); and lots of laughs...always lots of laughs! And the laughs were certainly not lacking last night, at our Third Session Skit Night. The theme was Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. There were lots of original acts...in fact, it was plane to see that everyone was right on track, car-fully engineering joke after joke after joke...almost as if they had been trained for it! Sorry, this post is running out of steam...I better jet!
