Yea the low life stole my grandmothers wedding rings. My dads family had a high respect for their mother. High respect in every sense of the word. It was an honor to be given her wedding rings. My grandmother was a very outspoken women, and a very strong woman. When my dad died his sister told me..My mother told all the family in st louis that Patty was her favorite. She said My mother would not let us forget you were her favorite. We wanted to make sure you got her rings. The rings were kept in my dads dresser drawer. My mom was gonna put them in her safety deposit box for me. They were still in my dads dresser. If my dad was alive my brother would be disowned for sure! No one messed with my dads mother or her wishes. I know why I was her favorite too. She used to call my dad up on the weekends. I could hear the conversation on the phone. Dan did you know your Paddy sends me boxes of cookies , candy and tea ? He said No I did not know that , but of all my 3 children it would be Paddy. Then she call me on the phone..Paddy I want you to know that it means so much to me that you send me cookies candy and tea. What I nice thing to send an old person like me. She said it makes me feel good that you remember me. Why am I telling you all this? Old people dont ask for much people. Grandparents dont ask for much people. A little thought goes a long way! If you do not live in the same state as your grandparents..A Card..A phone call..A can of sugar cookies goes a long way! " I Think of You" means the world!! PS Yes to my Irish family I am Paddy not Patty haha when I was little they called me Paddy wagon :P
