Yea, this be a tragedy all about how My life got flipped, turnd upside down And Id fain take a minute, just sit right here Ill tell ye how I became an insane king called Lear. In Brythonic England born and raised In the throne room was where I spent most of my days, Chillin out maxin relaxin all cool And shootin the breeze with my funny old fool, When a couple of daughters who I thought were good Flattered me to giving them the neighborhood! I screwed up what was right cause Cordelia cared And then I moved out into nature and the cold open air. I went out on the heath and a madman came near And I raged against the storm as if God could hear. Then Cordelia found me, took me into her sphere And I shook off my madness—now home for King Lear! I pulled up to the castle now to learn of my fate But Cordelia died—howl, howl, smell ya later. I looked at my kingdom, I was unhappy there, So I died in my grief, making Edgar my heir.
