Yeah Babies - House Bill goes to the Governor Last night, the Pennsylvania State Senate approved House Bill 2204, the homeless toddlers and infants bill, by a vote of 50-0! The bill now goes to Governor Thomas Corbett for his signature. The bill makes homeless infants and toddlers automatically eligible for early intervention services and tracking. The bill is expected to have a huge impact on the 5 to 6,000 infants and toddlers who spend at least one night in a homeless shelter in Pennsylvania. We thank both the Pennsylvania State Senate and House for their support. We especially thank all the advocates who worked on the bill, including our friends from the Campaign for What Works, Housing Alliance of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvanias Pediatricians, and the advocates from Bucks, Montgomery, and Delaware Counties, and in the Lehigh Valley.
