Yeah Danny .. I vagely remember hearing this song back in the early 50s... I pulled liberty in ,,Sasebo ,,Yokuska ,,Yokohama,,Tokio ,China and other cities over there that I cant remember the names of. They all played this song all the time . When we went to their honki-tonks,,they would have a line-up of girls for us servicemen to pick out who we wanted to dance with . ,but if I remember right I think we had to pay a few Yen to dance with them in some of the bars .I dont remember how many yen equaled one dollar . We would exchange our dollars for Yen before we left the ship .
