Yeah!! Its my birthday and I made it to 51! 50 has been a good year of discovery, personal growth and affirmations....became a grandmother, got to finally love me for who I am and my strengths, and stand up for myself, for what i want to do and believe in, and not be treated with disrespect or be bullied by others expectations. A few more grey hairs have shown up that wont disappear, a few more pounds that want to stay on not off....e to terms that I have to work with the body I have and made a conscious decision to not let negative energy or people bring me down...I need to surround myself with positive energy and people as this is healing and motivating for my soul.. But I am feeling more grateful for the blessings in my life, the opportunities for personal growth and new experiences this past year, being able to tick off a couple of items on my bucket list, and a greater appreciation for true friends who love me and care about me no matter what....and most of all, an awakening inside me - mind, body, and spirit. Thank you everyone for your kind wishes and for remembering me! I look forward to enjoying my birthday doing things that bring me joy - managing the Friday Cards and Games Group while playing Euchre and Scrabble, having lunch with two good friends and then a family home cooked dinner with my parents, MIL, Marc, Jason and Claire Finlan, his gal. And on Sunday, I get to enjoy dim sum with my daughter, Colleen Fraser!
