Yeah but what if the Tardis alters appearances as well as language and thats why most aliens look like people in costumes unless they are antagonistic to the Tardis and in reality Chantho looks like a Starship Troopers Arachnid, Lady Vastra is literally just a Komodo dragon, with the Ood the Tardis got lazy and just plopped a miniaturized version of their body on a gloved humanoid suit (explaining their impractical facial tentacles as those would be their actual arms and legs unfiltered) and The Doctor looks like a Shoggoth or such unfiltered, explaining why his regenerations sometimes look like people who have appeared in the show before, because Timelords are so ungodly alien in appearance that the Tardis has difficulty coming up with an approximated humanization and so just borrows a form its seen in the past and burns it onto peoples brains so that if the Tardis is gone they remember him how it wants it. Opening up the possibility that the Doctor is much less benevolent and clever as he is portrayed as the Tardis would be able to hijack the minds of people he encounters and leave a version of their encounters with him with as many negative moments and sights and ideas redacted or edited as the Tardis deems fit. What if the Doctor is Evil but alters peoples memory to think he is good? What if Donna having been part time lord doesnt mean that her remembering would fry her brain. What if having been part time lord means her remembering would mean her remembering how time lords are unfiltered and revealing to others the true nature of the Doctor as a hellish abomination of evil?
