Yeah, my father was kind of the same, he wanted to control me like a freaking slave. Even tried to force Ritalin on me, tried to force religion on me, hell even threw me in some Catholic after school program thing that was filled with delinquents. And that is just the icing on the cake. What I did? I left his sorry ass the moment I turned 18 and created a life of my own, joined the Marines, got my name changed, and got married. Been living happily ever since. If your parents or guardians are assholes, straight up, pure assholes who dont accept you for what you are or try to change you into someone you arent, you need to leave. They dont love you, and you shouldnt love them. You need to GTFO. Im not going to talk bad about this kid or like anyone who did the same thing as her, since maybe she didnt think of it, or her thoughts were just clouded, but more people need to realize that they hold power. They can forge their own paths in life, block out the darkness that falters them, and continue living a good life. The best revenge to these parents, is to live a good and fulfilling life with out them in it. Without them to take any sort of credit or pride in you or your accomplishments.
