Yeah so... I posted this last night and didnt say anything about it. Now Im gonna talk a bit about since its not 12am lol. Aint even finna cap to you... Im about to go in. The first thing Ill say is that if it wasnt for D2D: Dare To Dance I would have never heard the song and never be inspired to choreograph to it. In the time that I saw them perform at Clutchfest and got to LA my mind was already working and then 3 rehearsals later... the piece was set. Also, I have never done partnering in dance of mine. EVER. After I took class with Jillian Meyers I knew that was something I wanted to explore. Something told me to take the chance and try it. Im so happy I did. The actual idea behind the dance. I believe that my choreography doesnt mean anything unless its drawn from real life. If the dancer cant relate to dance then the audience DEF wont be able to relate. Personally, I have a issue speaking about my problems with other people. I often refuse to and I would much rather just let the issue dissolve for me in my mind and move on. The concept digs WAY deeper but when the Actual (wink wink) video releases then Ill explain it all. Long story short Im bless to be able to share this with everyone and thank you to all of the dancers that I either worked with to create this or influenced this dance. This is the first step towards me striving for better and it wouldnt have been possible without you.
