Yeah, this is pretty much my kids attitude to how technologically backward their school is. :( Plus, as a bonus, my youngest childs IEP was violated last week and I found out about it yesterday. And then when queried, her aide lied about it. Whats even more ironic? She lied about it in an email! :o Rule one. If you are a special ed aide on demand and you are ever going to violate an IEP or a 504 (they violated Ks last week too, she told me immediately) - make sure that the child 1) isnt verbal, and 2) never put something in writing that gives the parent rock solid evidence that you violated the IEP. In other words, dont write I offered her a choice between the computer and handwriting it in an email and then later admit over the phone that the school computers only just became operational one school day ago......... *headdesk* These kids tells me everything!
