Yeah, we definitely do not have a drought issue this year. To put a positive spin on it,.. I heard this missive the other day,… “…We’ve been really fortunate this year, it has only rained twice…. once for 26 days & once for 15 days…” Keeping the positive spin going,.. by tourney time – the course will be phenomenal from all this deep watering. Below is an effort to address some of the questions regarding the 9th Annual Mamie Adkins Charity Golf Tournament, so here you go. Please feel free to forward, facebook, tweet, print, carry, post, mail etc. these to your friends, family, classmates, ex’s, neighbors, bosses, etc. 1> You do not have to form a team to participate in the tournament– you can sign up as an individual player and will then be paired w/ other players to form a team – please make sure to include your skill level (A,B,C,or D) 2> We need a valid email address for all players or @ least the team captain for information dissemination. 3> Check-In begins @ 8:30am, Group Picture @ 9:30am, Announcements @ 9:45am, Tournament Shotgun Start @ 10:00am! 4> Yes, this is an 18 Hole, Captain’s Choice or Best Ball type of Format – everyone pulls their ball up to the best shot of the group. Super Fun! 5> The Deadline for Early Bird Package Discount Registration is July 20th. Early Registration is very HIGHLY SUGGESTED & HELPFUL!!!! 6> The Deadline for Player Registration is July 25th to receive a tournament shirt, Late Registration is Available from July 26th – August 12th. 7> Yes, Gates Four is a private club – we will provide the both gates with a list of players – simply tell the guard your name and you will be good to go, obviously, this means we MUST HAVE a complete listing of players by August 12th. 8> As a private club, there is a dress code – Shorts are OK, NO JEANS or T-Shirts are allowed on the golf course – Soft Spikes Only on the golf course. 9> Yes, you can and are encouraged to solicit sponsorships on your own – simply forward them the flyer & then coordinate with me. 10> No, Two Man Teams are NOT Available 11> Yes, you can sponsor a hole or anything else that you would like to sponsor and play in the tournament as well. 12> Yes, Tournament shirts (Cutter & Buck Tournament Shirts) are included for all of those Registered and Paid by the July 25th Deadline. 13> Yes, Mulligan & Red Tee Packages & 20’ long String & 1 Sling may be purchased @ the time of check-in, but it is preferred that these are purchased @ the time of registration – please, really now - c’mon, you know everyone needs them. 14> Early Registration Fees ($72. by July 20th) includes – 18 holes of golf (cart & green fees), Cart Gift Bags, Contest Prizes, Cutter & Buck Tournament Shirt, & Range Balls plus a $20. donation to the Education Fund. It DOES NOT include the 2-Mulligan & 1-Red Tee Package ($10. – limit one per player or 20’ String & Sling – No Limit). 15> Late Registration Fees ($85. by July 25th) 16> Lunch is on your own, it is NOT Included. 17> Yes, we will have a couple of Beverage / Snack Carts serving the players – these are a CASH ONLY BASIS. Sponsorships of the Beverage Carts are still available – ($150.each). 18> There are several levels of sponsorships available again this year. These are listed on the website magt.co and on the sponsorship flyer – feel free to send these out to your network. 19> AND – Last but not Least we the FaceBook Page this year facebook/mamieadkinsgolftournament - please go check it out and hit the LIKE Button! Get those sponsorship levels in as soon as possible. We appreciate very much what these sponsors are doing, their support helps to make this tournament the Best Golf Tournament.
