Yeah we have evolved ! I am a fashion photographer who owns a Honda car with a driver. My father was an engineer with irrigation department n owned a Fiat. My grandafther...a farmer...had a bullock cart to boast of. My grandfather would work all day in the fields...could walk 60miles or more from one village to another n carried desi ghee ke laddoo with him. Even today at 96...he hates if i hold his hand while he is walking My father while studying in AMU ...would often ride back to the village in the eve ...n it took him abt 3hrs to cover 60kms on his bicycle ...he carried with him dry fruits n stuff...n even today he would give that Govardhan parikrama of 28km on foot. And me...the well known fashion photographer ...cant run 2 miles without complaining of knee, back or neck pain...and ofcourse this generation is not supposed to have desi ghee...too much sweets or salts...n not to mention i dont travel with laddoos n paranthas but with pain killers n muscle relaxants.
