......Yeah, you know what they did with my brother when he acted out in school? They treated him like a human being and talked to him. If he didnt calm down, he was sent to the counselor or sent home. The only reason that method is so hard for some teachers and they feel they have to go to extremes to protect themselves from these students is because they lack the training to deal with the kids placed in their charge. :/
