Year 1 of my Bachelor of Social Work is done and dusted. This year has gone by so damn quickly. It has been an intense journey so far, full of laughs and tears and hugs and support and arguments and reconciliations and love and memories and so much learning! I have met some of the kindest souls and sweetest people over this journey so far, and I so look forward to continuing this journey with them. I was most fortunate to receive 1st in class in my Practice class. I was not expecting it, nor was I expecting to post about it, but yesterdays Quote of the Day on one of my apps was feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it. And I have so much to be thankful for and so many to thank. My peers and friends, my lecturers, my colleagues, God, my sideline supporters, my family, and everyone else in between - so thank you. One year down, two to go. xx 😊
