Year 3+: I was glad to hear that Tyrel had a much better day today. I know he has many tough days ahead but one day at a time, he will make progress. Today is our 7 year anniversary. There was no celebration, just a quick phone call for recognition. It is not our marriage license that keeps me by Tyrels side. It is my deep appreciation for him as a human being, a man, a kind and courageous person. Of course I love him to the moon and back. What Ive learned from Tyrel in the time Ive known him is the definition of unconditional love...and that is not because of the piece of paper we signed on this day 7 years ago. Its because of the man he is and was. He went above and beyond to help someone he cared about, always! He always told the truth. He always held his loved ones close to his heart and he still does. And he always expected himself to treat others the way he wanted to be treated...with kindness and dignity. Just to know someone like that is refreshing in this day and age. Because of his dedication to be an honest, dignified, and loving person I strive to be the best person I can for him. On that note, Happy Anniversary Tyrel. Have a blessed day and love yourself as much as you love others :)
